Find out about the MALO DENTAL DIFFERENCE.
1st Appointment
Getting to know you and finding out what your cosmetic and functional desires are. In addition, we will also make a diagnosis and treatment plan. We typically will take a detailed Medical and Dental history, necessary diagnostic X-rays, photographs and moulds of your mouth.
2nd Appointment (day 1 – surgery)
This is the day of surgery where dental implants are placed. Following which, moulds are taken to make your new smile. The All-on-4™ or Zygomatic implants procedure is most commonly performed under local anaesthetic but can also be performed under sedation or general anesthetic.
3rd Appointment (day 2 – try in and fit)
Your new teeth are created in wax and we will check this trial smile within 24 hours of implant placement. Any necessary adjustments to tooth position and colour can be made at this stage. You get to see how your new teeth look like before they are finalised. Usually by the end of the day, your new teeth will be fixed to the dental implants. Smile with confidence again.

How Is The All-on-4™ Dental Implant Technique Executed?
We have many patients asking us what to expect when they come to MALO DENTAL for their All-on-4™ dental implants. The All-on-4™ dental implants are quite different from normal dental implants, so their journey is slightly different as well. Below is the journey most patients go through when they come in for the All-on-4™ treatment at MALO DENTAL.
How Long Does The Treatment Take?
All-on-4™ dental implants can be placed into the patients mouth within 1- 3 days, which actually consumes much lesser time than routine dental implants. The reason for this is most dental implants are placed individually and so there are several implants to be placed hence consuming more time. However, with the All-on-4™ dental implants, the patient only needs four implants for his or her replacement teeth. With the All-on-4™ dental implant procedure, bone grafting is not required.
What Happens During the All-on-4™ Surgery?
When you arrive for surgery, our implant surgeon will take a few impressions of the patient’s teeth to work out the optimal placement for the four implants. This step itself is usually done under local anaesthetic. Some cases, however , require sedation or general anaesthetic. Feel free to ask your implant surgeon what your options are if you are particularly anxious.
What Happens During The Try In?
The second day of the All-on-4™ treatment is used for the try in. During this time, your new teeth will be set in wax so that you will know what your smile will look like. At the time of the try we will also make adjustments to the position of the teeth and the colour , so that the teeth will look as natural as possible and function as your normal teeth would. During the try in you will also get a better idea of how the end result will look like. Over this period, if you have any questions or concerns about your implants you can discuss these issues with the implant surgeon.
When Will I Get My New Teeth?
Your new set of teeth can be with you on most instances on the SAME day of surgery. During this procedure, your new teeth will be fixed to the dental implants placed on the first day. After this procedure, you will have your beautiful smile back!
Can I See Some Examples Of The All-on-4™ Procedure?
We are unable to display before and after pictures on our website due to the Ministry of Health’s (Singapore) regulations. However, at our clinics you will be able to see examples of how patients have had their smiles and confidence transformed. Sometimes, you will also be able to meet others who have already been through this procedure and they will usually be happy to speak to you and advise you on their journey to a better smile.
